Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. The manuscripts should be typed on one side of A4 white paper (16 x 24.7) sized 11 points, 1.5 spaced with 2.5 cm margins on all sides, and using Calibri writing style. The papers should be prepared with Microsoft Word software 6.0 or above. Footnotes should be avoided and endnotes kept to a minimum. All pages should be numbered.

2. The first page of manuscript's (title page) consists of title, authors’ names, e-mail addresses and their affiliations, orchids number, type of article (e.g. theoretical, book review) abstract, and keywords. After that page manuscript continues with title, abstract, main text, acknowledgements, references, appendix, figures and tables.

Any Personal Data that you give us will be treated with the utmost care and security. The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to finalise any transaction with you. We do not share your personal information. We share only your name, ORCID id, e-mail and address in the article.

 Ethics

The scientific ethic is the major submitting and publishing criteria for JETI. Below are the major ethical issues you should be aware of as an author. Our ethical guidelines for authors is essential for a publication which authors benefits every researchers career.

Remember that you should submit your paper to one journal at a time.

Authorship

The authors listed on an article published in JETI  should have made a significant contribution to the work reported. This could be in terms of research conception or design, or acquisition of data, or the analysis and interpretation of data. As an author or co-author, you share responsibility and accountability for the content of your article. Please avoid to be a gift (guest) authorship where someone is added to the list of authors who has not been involved in writing the paper or ghost authorship where someone has been involved in writing the paper but is not included in the list of authors.

 Plagiarism

JETI uses similarity check for any kind plagiarism. You should check your citing, reference section and permissions from other authors. Also, self-plagiarism repeats the data presented by you and creates multiplication. Any allegations of plagiarism or self-plagiarism made to a journal will be investigated by the editor of JETI. If the allegations appear to be true, we will then contact all authors of the article and ask for an explanation over the material. If the explanation is not satisfactory, we will reject the submission. We may also choose not accept future submissions.

Data fabrication / Falsification

All data you submitted need to be accurate, and represent your research foundation. Data fabrication / Falsification cases will be evaluated by the editor of JETI. Editor can ask the raw data to check the accuracy. If the raw data sent by author is not satisfactory, editorial board or editor have the right to reject the submission. We may also choose not accept future submissions.

 

Conflict of Interest

It is very important to address the Conflict of Interest of the research which can be research funding, direct or indirect financial support, supply of equipment or materials, or other support. Please declare your Conflict of Interest during the submission.

 Every author listed on a journal article should have made a significant contribution to the work reported. Structure of the manuscripts

  1. The title should be clear and informative, and not more than 14 words. Articles should be written under five main headings: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. First-level titles must be written in Calibri, 11 point size, bold, centered, and only the first letter is capitalized
  2. Author's names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions and email addresses, without any academic title. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be notified as to the corresponding author.
  3. Abstrak It must be written in the Calibri font, size 10 points, justified in the area specified in the template. Abstract limited to 120 to 200 words
  4. Keyword Minimum 3, maximum 5 words, the first capitalization is only the first letter of the first word (except for the name)
  5. This section explains the background of the study, a review of the previous researches in the area, and the aims of the manuscripts. Importantly it should also show the significance and novelty of the research.
  6. This section describes the appropriate tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
  7. Results and Discussion.This section explains the results of the study. It should be presented clearly and concisely. Author(s) should explore the novelty or the contribution of the work to the education literature.
  8. This section concludes and provides policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusion(s) should be in the same order as ones discussed in the body of the manuscript.
  9. Conflict of Interest. A conflict of interest statement must also be included in the manuscript before the Acknowledgments sections and should summarize all aspects of any conflicts of interest.
  10. Acknowledgments (Optional). Substantive contributions of individuals should be noted in an Acknowledgements section and entered after the “Conflict of Interest”.
  11. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred to in the body of the manuscript. Minumum 20 references. use mandeley References must start on a new page and must follow the American Psychological Association System (APA 7 Publications Manual)
