Al-Biruni: Journal of Mathematics and Mathematics Education (AMEJ) , with registered number ISSN XXXX-XXXX (Online), is a peer-reviewed open-access journal aimed at facilitating the sharing, dissemination, and discussion of current research trends, scholarly findings, professional practices, and academic perspectives across a wide range of educational disciplines. The journal focuses on areas such as innovative teaching practices, curriculum development, technology-enhanced learning, educational policy, and emerging issues in contemporary education research (see Focus and Scope).
Al-Biruni: Journal of Mathematics and Mathematics Education (AMEJ) is published quarterly (February and August) and is available in an electronic open-access format under the publisher (Department of Mathematics Education.
Publish Mode
All accepted articles will be published using a "publish-as-you-go" system.
The journal’s publication policy follows the publish-as-you-go model, meaning that once the peer-review process is completed, each accepted article is immediately assigned a DOI and published online in the current issue. When the issue period ends (February and August), a new issue is activated, and articles with DOIs continue to be added until the end of that issue period. This ensures that accepted articles are published promptly without waiting for the next scheduled issue.
