Author Guidelines
International Journal of Pedagogical Innovation and Digital Learning
1. Scope and Focus
The International Journal of Pedagogical Innovation and Digital Learning publishes peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary research articles dedicated to advancing knowledge at the intersection of pedagogical theory and digital learning practices. Areas of interest include:

Educational science includes educational technology, educational management, inclusive education, multicultural education, and educational psychology.

Digital learning covers topics related to e-learning, Mobile Learning (m-Learning), Learning Management System (LMS), Virtual Classroom & Video Conference, Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Learning, and Blended Learning.
Manuscripts must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and must not be under review by another journal.
2. Types of Articles
The International Journal of Pedagogical Innovation and Digital Learning accepts the following types of manuscripts:

3. Language
All manuscripts must be written in English using a clear, concise, and formal academic style.
4. Manuscript Preparation
4.1 Document Format

Paper size: A4, margins 2.5 cm on all sides

Font: Calibri, 11 pt, single-spaced

Paragraph: Justified alignment
-
Length: 6–10 pages for original research articles
4.2 Title

Font Calibri 14 pt, Title Case, bold, centered, single-spaced, not exceeding 20 words
4.3 Author Names and Affiliations

List all authors’ full names (without academic titles)
-
Provide institutional affiliations and countries
-
Include the corresponding author’s email and ORCID ID

4.4 Abstract

Written in English, 150–200 words, single paragraph, Use Calibri 10 pt, single spacing

Structured with Background, Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusions

Keywords: Five (5) relevant keywords separated by commas using standard international terms (e.g., MeSH)
4.5 Structure of Manuscript (IMRaD)
-
Introduction: Background, research gap, novelty, and objectives.
-
Methods: Study design, participants, instruments, procedures, data analysis, ethical approval, and data availability statement. May include formulas, tables, diagrams, or flowcharts.
-
Results and Discussion: Present data clearly using tables/figures and provide a deep analysis comparing findings with previous studies; discuss novelty, implications, and limitations.
-
Conclusion: Summarize main findings, highlight contribution, and offer recommendations/future research.
-
Acknowledgments (optional): Credit institutions or individuals who supported the research.
4.6 Tables and Figures

Tables use only horizontal lines; captions are placed above tables.

Figure captions are placed below the figures.
-
Provide high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
-
Ensure tables/figures are numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
4.7 References

Follow APA 7th Edition for in-text citations and reference list.
-
Minimum 20 references for original research; more for review articles.
-
At least 80% from primary sources (peer-reviewed journals) within the last 5 years.

Include DOI or URL for online sources.
-
Use reference managers such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

5. Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure that all research involving human or animal subjects complies with ethical standards. Provide the approval number of the institutional review board or ethics committee. State clearly in the manuscript if ethical approval was not required and explain why.
6. Originality and Plagiarism
Submissions must be original and checked using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin ≤20%). Manuscripts must not have been published elsewhere or be under review by another journal.
7. Submission Process
Manuscripts are submitted online via the journal’s submission system. Authors must register before submission and follow the on-screen instructions.
8. Peer Review
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments.
9. Copyright and Licensing
Accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right of first publication.
10. Publication Fee
The Article Processing Charge (APC) for the International Journal of Pedagogical Innovation and Digital Learning (IJOPID) is IDR 100,000 (one hundred thousand rupiah) or approximately $7.50 USD.
