KARAKTERISTIK TINGKAT KREATIVITAS MAHASISWA CALON GURU DALAM MEMODIFIKASI TUGAS MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR

Kemampuan berkreativitas yang dimiliki mahasiswa calon guru dalam memodifikasi tugas berbeda-beda, hal ini karena masing-masing mahasiswa calon guru memiliki cara yang berbeda dalam mengolah bahan informasi yang diperoleh. Cara yang digunakan dalam menyerap, mengatur dan mengolah bahan informasi yang diberikan dalam pembelajaran adalah gaya belajar mereka masing-masing. Berdasarkan cara belajar yang berbeda ini, maka dari itu setiap orang memiliki cara belajar efektif yang berbeda untuk satu sama lain. Terdapat tiga jenis gaya belajar yang paling utama yaitu visual, auditory (auditorial), dan kinaesthetic (kinestetik). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 orang mahasiswa calon guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis dan wawancara. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Instrumen pendukungnya berupa angket kreativitas dan angket gaya belajar.Peneliti telah memberikan tugas matematika yang terdapat dalam buku sekolah elektronik (BSE) kepada mahasiswa calon guru untuk memodifikasi tugas tersebut. Hasil analisis terhadap tugas yang telah dimodifikasi menunjukkan bahwa 3 guru memiliki karakteristik gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda. dapat disimpulkan mahasiswa calon guru dengan gaya belajar visual lebih baik kreativitasnya dari pada mahasiswa calon guru dengan gaya auditorial dan kinestetik. Hal ini dikarenakan mahasiswa calon guru dapat menunjukkan indikator kreativitas kebaruan dan fleksibilitas atau kefasihan dan kebaruan.
